The research and development department Only perfection is excellence The Costampress research and development department is an efficient and dynamic department where tests are set, conducted and meticulously analysed on: • Work techniques in moulds, • New material selections • Heat regulation studies • Innovative heat treatments • Innovative surface treatments • Innovative lubrication systems The purpose of these activities is to improve mould and production process quality and efficiency. To test the real efficiency of new solutions, all tests are conducted in our foundry, pilot moulds are put into production and constantly monitored. This procedure provides enormous advantages on the technical level since it provides us with constant inspiration for professional growth. At the same time, it represents a guarantee for our customers since the customer can shift the need to “research new technologies” from its factory to the supplier with this system, saving time and money.
