Quality a question of method Every one of our moulds is delivered to the customer with a "mould-book" that contains the entire production process: • The study and proposals made by Costampress during the co-design phase • Chronology of the steps that led to the final choice of the casting, pit and drain valve positions (if necessary). • Documentation on all casting simulation tests conducted in the study phase. • Complete mould project documentation. • Complete documentation on material market research, cutting sheets including relevant photos. • Traceability documentation (certificates of origin) for each cast part (heart of the mould). • Documentation on heat treatments, certificates and micrographs on material in the annealed and reclaimed conditions; these controls are conducted on each single cast part. • Documentation of all dimensional tests conducted on mould parts during construction. • Certificates on conducted surface treatments. • Detailed information on each single technical information received during mould sampling, helpful to the customer in reproducing sampling conditions in his factory. • Dimensional control performed on pressure die-casts. • Analysis of the alloy used in tests. • Complete X-rays of final pressure die-casts.
