The company
between the past and the future In 1971, the tooling department split from an important foundry in Marghera (VENICE) to become an independent new company, Costampress.
Initially, Costampress almost exclusively constructed pressure and low pressure die-casting moulds for the former foundry. Later, Costampress began to find new customers and slowly laid its foundations to become fully independent.
In 1988, it moved from Marghera to the current new Gardigiano factory. In 1990, Costampress began to export its moulds abroad. In 1994, the closure of a foundry provided Costampress the chance to purchase machinery and specialised personnel with experience to create a new pressure die-casting inspection department where all moulds are tested before delivery throughout the world.
The style, the service and the level of technology of its tools have always been well-received on the market. For this reason, in the year 2001, Costampress felt the need to expand its production departments and moved its factory to the new buildings.
Costampress constantly focuses on demand and market trends, adapting and developing its organisation to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Management’s constant efforts and correct quality policies let Costampress reach the set goals and constantly seek perfection.
